  Patent Attorney

Nicole A. Ressue is a registered patent attorney who specializes in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications.  Nicole has experience in various disciplines including biotechnology, chemistry, software, mechanical devices, coal refinery, electrical technology, business methods, consumer goods, and a variety of others.   Examples of her work that client have permitted to be listed include: “Enhanced Business and Inventory Management Systems”, WO 2006/116573 A2, “Cellular Tissue Culture Systems For High-Volume Processing”, US 2007/0196915 A1, and “Off-Axis Reducible Support Structure”, US 6,789,772 B2.

Nicole also has experience in U.S. patent interferences, foreign patent oppositions, preparing and negotiating licenses and other technology related contractual agreements, patent infringement analysis, copyright registrations, and trademark registrations.

Nicole is passionate about her work and takes a personal interest in helping build strong intellectual property foundations for each of her clients, whether they are start-ups, small businesses or large companies.  “I enjoy consulting with clients to develop strategies which fit their business framework,” says Nicole.  “Whether I’m helping a publicly traded company or an individual entrepreneur, I like to fit the client’s intellectual property into their business plans so the client – big or small – enhances their competitive position.  I know intellectual property can be core to a business model so it has to be done right.”

Nicole previously worked as a chemist for an oil and gas company in Texas.  In her spare time, she and her husband, Bill, enjoy golf, travel, family outings, gardening, and skiing.
